Terms and Conditions of Sale

Terms
All orders received by REDCO are subject to approval by our credit department.

Accounts not approved for credit are normally required to pay a 50% deposit to process the order, and pay the balance, prior to shipment of the completed goods. A service charge of 1% per month will be charged to accounts which remain unpaid beyond approved terms.

All prices are F.O.B. shipping point.

Delivery
A delivery schedule will be established in acknowledging orders, based on customer’s request and on our estimated ability to deliver. While REDCO will do everything possible to meet your delivery needs, we cannot accept responsibility for late charges, penalty clauses, or special shipping charges incurred by failure to deliver on schedule. Check your acknowledgment for expected delivery date—it may be different from your requested ship date.

Cancellation
Cancellations WILL NOT be permitted without written authorization from REDCO.
A restocking charge will be required if production has begun.

Returns
Returns WILL NOT be accepted without prior written authorization by REDCO.

Freight Charges
All shipments are F.O.B. shipping point and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
While we are happy to estimate freight charges, they are estimates. REDCO cannot be responsible for differences between actual and estimated freight bills. All shipments will be sent freight collect.

Storage
If a customer requests postponement of delivery when REDCO is ready to make the shipment, REDCO reserves the right to transfer the furniture to storage at the customer’s risk and expense. Such transfer to storage will be deemed delivery to the customer for all purposes including invoicing and payment.

Transit Damage
REDCO is not responsible for damage to furniture which occurs in transit or in storage. It is the customer’s responsibility to examine furniture upon receipt and note any damage in transit on the carrier’s delivery receipt. All claims should be immediately filed by the customer with the carrier. Damage which does not become apparent until furniture is unpacked (concealed damage) should be reported to the carrier in writing within fifteen (15) days. All claims against REDCO for defects, errors or shortages must be made by the customer in writing within five (5) days after any delivery. Failure by the customer to make any claim against REDCO within five (5) days shall constitute acceptance of the furniture and a waiver of any defects, errors or shortages.

Warranty
All items sold by REDCO are warranted against defects in material, workmanship and performance under normal use, for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase for tops, and five (5) years for bases. We will not, however, repair any item which has been abused or subjected to any use other than that which was originally intended for our product. Warranty on plastic laminate is not covered by REDCO, but is covered by laminate manufacturers under their warranty only. There are no other warranties expressed or implied.

Quotations
All quotations are firm for 90 days, unless extended in writing.

Small Order Charges
All orders of 5 items or less will carry a $175 list small order packaging charge.

Manufacturing
We periodically make changes to existing product designs in order to improve the general construction of our product. In this event, product may vary slightly from the catalog or price list. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
